Ford Commercial Vehicles Make Best Sales Yet In 2002

Ford Commercial Vehicles had an outstanding year for sales in 2002 and led the market with 23.4 per cent of all sales.

"It's been a terrific year for Ford's commercial vehicles with new Transit Connect, Tourneo Connect, 12- and 17- seat minibuses, Ka Van, a new Ranger, TDCi engines and an LPG Transit in Band 4 of the Powershift register all making their debut," said Steve Parker, commercial vehicles director, Ford of Britain.

"This year we have even more models to expand the range, including LPG Transit Connect and Transit Double-Cab-in-Van. These results show that businesses that want a dependable vehicle, that is cost effective to operate, continue to find those qualities with Ford commercial vehicles, supported by the Ford Dealer organization," he concluded.
