The new Ford Focus ST (Sport Technologies) is now available to order from £21,995 for the entry-level ‘ST-1’ model, with delivery in September 2012.
The Ford Focus ST is powered by a 2.0-litre EcoBoost engine producing 250 PS, which equates to a 0-62 mph time of 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 154 mph. The official combined fuel consumption figure is 39 mpg and CO2 emissions are rated at 169 g/km. Six-speed manual transmission is standard the Focus ST range.
The new Ford Focus ST has been designed ‘Globally’ with the same suspension and engine set-up worldwide, not too sure if this is a great idea as British roads and tastes are pretty much unique.
Tangerine Scream, is the new signature colour with Spirit Blue, Race Red, Black, White and Silver also available.
There are three trim levels available are called ‘ST-1’, ‘ST-2’ and ‘ST-3’:
18” alloy wheels, Recaro Cloth seats, Manual A/C, Keyless start, Thatcham alarm, DAB radio with Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
Partial Leather trim, DEATC, Sony Radio, Rain sensitive wipers, Auto Headlights, Self-dimming mirror, Quickclear Windscreen and ST Floor mats
Leather trim, Heated front seats, Bi-Xenon headlamps, LED day time running lights, Keyless entry and Power fold mirrors
Options include the ‘Performance Pack’ which offers the wheels in grey black with a high contrast red finish on the performance brake calipers, plus the ‘Driver Assistance Pack’, with an array of Ford safety features.
