Ford's low emission ECOnetic engine is now available in the Ford Fiesta Zetec and Titanium models, emitting 95g/km.
The Zetec and Titanium models now means a three model line up of green models that customers can choose from. All three Ford Fiesta ECOnetic models feature the 1.6 litre, 95PS Duratorq TDCi engine with Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) offering a combined fuel consumption of 78.5mpg and zero road tax.
Anthony Ireson, Ford of Britain marketing director, said: "Many drivers want to drive a car with lower emissions but still want comfort, performance and an affordable price. Expanding ECOnetic across the series answers that demand, with style."
The Ford Fiesta ECOnetic model range starts with Edge ECOnetic, with a price starting from £13,895, includes Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), air-conditioning, lowered suspension, aerodynamic improvements and low rolling resistance tyres.
The Ford Fiesta Zetec ECOnetic includes 14" 6-spoke alloy wheels, front fog lights, rear wheel air deflectors, chrome surrounds on headlights, lower front grille, tailgate handle and belt line finisher, three-spoke leather steering wheel and ambient lighting and has a starting price of £14,445.
The Ford Fiesta Titanium ECOnetic is priced from £15,645, and adds Sony DAB Radio, Bluetooth voice control and USB connectivity, cruise control, front upper grille chrome strip, power-operated folding door mirrors, privacy glass, electronic automatic temperature control (EATC). automatic headlamps, automatic wipers, two rear speakers and a perimeter alarm.
Ford Fiesta ECOnetic models feature aerodynamic body styling, lowered suspension, low resistance tyres and low friction oil helping the car to achieve low CO2 emissions. A green shift indicator features in the instrument cluster highlights the optimal point to change gear for maximum fuel economy.
