The Ford C-MAX and Ford Grand C-MAX have been voted 'New Company Car of The Year 2011' and 'Best People Carrier' at the Fleet News Awards.
Fleet News' panel of industry judges said: "The new Ford C-Max and Grand C-Max stand out thanks to clever and flexible seating and sliding rear passenger doors in a highly competitive sector with a range of new entrants."
Cars were judged on criteria which includes operating costs (depreciation, fuel, servicing, maintenance and repair etc) and suitability for their use as business cars. The "New Company Car of the Year" accolade was decided by fleet operator readers of Fleet News.
The Ford C-MAX and Grand C-MAX have been on sale since November 2010, and have recently been joined by the all new Ford Focus. On the road prices start from £17,195 for the Ford C-MAX and £19,195 for the Ford Grand C-MAX. All models received a maximum NCAP safety rating of five stars and come as standard with a Thatcham Category 1 alarm, DAB radio, Bluetooth and USB connections.
