"These dealers will understand the appeal of its unique blend of modern styling and traditional front-engine, rear-wheel-drive dynamics. They will be enthusiasts, who can look beyond mere badge engineering and brand marketing, and communicate the emotional dividends and sheer exhilaration which comes as standard with every Census V6" says FBS Cars’ managing director and chartered engineer Andrew Barber.
Barber is adamant that none of this will change the way FBS does business. "The new dealers may be the first point of contact for many, but our customers will always be welcome to visit the factory and specify their car directly with the engineering team then have it built to fit them precisely - experiences that are the first of the many joys of hand-built car ownership".
FBS Cars has a pedigree that can be traced directly into the mainstream of the UK automotive business. The Census design team’s experience includes Lotus, Aston Martin, Prodrive and BMW-Rover. Now in its fifth year of trading, FBS has been delivering cars to customers since June 2002, with a medium term production target of 50 plus vehicles per year.
This is a 21-year+ news article, from our FBS archive, which dates back to the year 2000.
If in doubt check with your local FBS dealer as car prices and technical data will have changed since 2003.
