Census V6 To Benefit From SMMT Membership

FBS Cars of Brackley, Northants, manufacturers of the Census V6 sports car has recently become a full member of The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders. The move will enable FBS Cars to benefit from the same SMMT technical, training and marketing support facilities as used by front-rank car makers such as Ford, Vauxhall and Rover.

With 170 PS on tap and a sub 6 second 0-60 mph time, the deceptively quick £26,635 Census V6 has been in series production since June 2002. Now in its fifth year of trading, FBS is working towards a medium term production target of 50 plus vehicles per year. The Census design team’s experience includes work undertaken for Lotus, Aston Martin, Prodrive and BMW-Rover.
