Two cars will be on show at Birmingham, both equipped with the 2.5 litre DOHC V6 that is standard power for the Census line-up. But while 170 PS maximum power and a torque peak of 220 Nm might be enough for the technically minded, what most visitors will find fascinating is the way in which cars like these can be literally 'tailor-made' to suit each owner.
This actually goes as far as individually measuring each customer up to make sure that foot pedals, gear lever and steering wheel are all within optimum reach. Then it is on to choosing colours, leather trim, seats and all the other extras that make each Census unique, even by the standards of low-volume car making.
