Daihatsu Terios

Daihatsu is offering one year’s free insurance for drivers who buy a new Terios sport-utility vehicle from 1 May, 2002.

The offer, which is open until the end of September, applies to drivers aged 25 to 70 who choose a Terios E, EL or range-topping SL.

In addition to the free insurance offer, every new Terios also comes with Daihatsu’s standard ‘333’ package - three years’ warranty, three years’ free servicing and three years’ roadside assistance. This means for the first year, all the customer pays for is their car and petrol.

The 1.3 litre 86PS Terios is not only highly manoeuvrable and usable in the high street, it is also very capable off-road, with its full-time four-wheel drive and good ground clearance.

Standard levels of equipment across the range include power steering, stereo system, immobiliser, seat belt pretensioners and a driver’s airbag. The EL adds alloy wheels, central locking, electric front windows and a passenger airbag, all of which also feature on the flagship SL, which boasts an even longer list of standard features, including air conditioning and a CD player.

Operations Director for Daihatsu Vehicle Distributors Limited, Paul Hegarty, said: "The Terios is all about freedom – the freedom to drive where you choose when you choose. Our insurance offer frees customers from yet one more bill, making running a Terios more hassle-free than ever."
