Daihatsu’s supermini Sirion range now comes with the added attraction of three years’ free servicing for any car registered between 1 April and 30 June, 2003.
This is in addition to Daihatsu’s standard three years’ unlimited mileage warranty and three years’ roadside assistance.
The customer care hat-trick is designed to give one of the best ‘peace-of-mind’ incentives in the industry, with the servicing deal alone estimated to be worth around £450. Applicable to the first owner only, the maintenance package covers 36,000 miles-worth of motoring.
Facelifted last year, the five-door Sirion range was also expanded and now includes 1.0 and 1.3 litre models – both with an automatic gearbox option – plus the new four-wheel drive ‘4trak’ version and two ‘warm’ hatches called ‘Rally 2’ and ‘Rally 4’. All offer some of the best performance/economy combinations in their class with exceptionally low exhaust emissions.
Sirion prices start at only £7,995 on-the-road for either the 1.3 EL manual or 1.0 EL automatic, while even the 108 PS Rally 2 costs just £9,995 OTR despite its 115 mph top speed and 0-60 mph time of 8.1 seconds.
