BMW Great Britain has announced on-the-road prices and full UK specification for the new 5 Series. On sale from 18 September 2003, the new 5 Series will feature new lightweight chassis components, increased performance, ground breaking levels of technology, higher levels of standard specification and more space than the outgoing 5 Series.
Not only does the new car cost less to service than its predecessor, customers can also specify the option of Service and Maintenance Inclusive (SMI). The five year / 60,000 mile Europe-wide pack, priced at £750.00, offers drivers convenience and peace of mind while travelling in the UK and abroad. SMI covers all servicing requirements alongside brake and clutch replacement if necessary, in any BMW dealership throughout the EU, and is expected to extend to other models in the future.
