A New BMW and MINI Dealership in Northfield, Milton Keynes

Wayside Group has started 2011 in much the same way it ended 2010 another development in Milton Keynes, this time the location is Northfield near Junction 14 of the M1.

On 8th March 2011 this new Wayside BMW & MINI dealership opened its doors to the public for the first time, and customers were able to experience 'JOY' in one of the most prestigious dealerships in the country.

The impressive new development, at the junction of Childs Way and Northfield Drive, features a 16 new car showroom for BMW together with a used car facility displaying over 100 cars inside and out. The MINI showroom extends to present 10 new MINIs with 38 used MINIs on display externally.

However, one of the most exciting features of the new facility is that customers will now be able to drive straight into an undercover reception area for servicing, making the experience so much more pleasant, whatever the British weather.

There is also a 21 bay workshop including 2 MOT bays - plus a dedicated tyre bay with a further area for smart repairs, preparation and valeting.

The £7M plus development has also brought 10 new jobs to the city.

The showroom and workshops extend to 67,000sq ft. (6,200sq m) on the 4 acre site. That's more than four times the size of the previous facilities at Kingston and, being only a short drive from the city centre and less than half a mile from the M1 Junction 14, it is ideally located to serve the ever growing population of the greater Milton Keynes area.

Wayside Group only took over the BMW & MINI franchise in October 2008 and since then extensive investment by the group has seen the business grow to such an extent that the old premises at Kingston were soon too small. Ambitious plans meant that a new site was required and Northfield was then acquired and planning permission sought.
