When it goes on sale in September, the new 730Ld is set to become the transport of choice for the discerning buyer looking for extended legroom combined with lower running costs. It also heralds the first time BMW has offered a long-wheelbase diesel-powered 7 Series in the UK.
The 231hp 730Ld is offered in Standard and SE variants and costs £50,750 and £52,900 respectively. Performance figures closely mirror those of the standard wheelbase car, accelerating from zero to 62mph in 7.9 seconds while still delivering 34.4mpg on the combined cycle.
