BMW have announced that the 6 Series Gran Coupe (four-door coupe) will be here in the UK in June of this year with prices starting at £61,390 for the BMW 640i Gran Coupe.
The engine line-up will headed by a TwinPower Turbo 450hp V8 petrol unit which deliveres 650 Nm worth of torque – expect 0-62 mpg in 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph. On combined cycle the official figure is 31.7 mpg and the co2 emissions are rated at 206 g/km. The starting price for the BMW 640i Gran Coupe will be £70,650.
For diesel fans there is BMW 640d Gran Coupe at £61,390, which produces 320hp/450Nm, with a quoted 0-62 mph time of 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph. The official combined fuel figure is 35.8 mpg and co2 emissions are 181 g/km.
All models will feature an eight-speed automatic gearbox and BMW’s EfficientDynamics programme of carbon-foot reducing technology.
