The new BMW 520d EfficientDynamics Saloon will arrive in September 2011, offering 184hp and 380Nm of torque from the 20 litre turbo diesel, offering 62.8mpg fuel consumption and 119g/km CO2 emissions.
As standard, the Bmw 520d comes with Auto Start-Stop, Optimum Gearshift Indicator, Brake Energy Regeneration, low resistance tyres on Streamline-design alloy wheels and Active Aerodynamics. The BMW 520d EfficientDynamics of as a longer final drive ratio, which reduce engine revs at cruising speeds. 0-62mph is achieved in 8.2 seconds.
BMW's new ECO-PRO Mode, a driver-activated switch promoting economical and comfortable driving at low speeds is also included with the BMW 520d EfficientDynamics Saloon. This technology works by adjusting the engine mapping, throttle sensitivity, automatic gearshift points and the amount of power consumed by electrical ancillaries such as heated seats and climate control.
The new BMW 520d EfficientDynamics Saloon will be on sale in September 2011, with prices starting at £30,425 on the road.
