The JD Power Automotive Performance and Layout Study (APEAL) assesses the satisfaction of new car buyers in North America.
The BMW 5 Series, BMW X3 and BMW Z4 have all been awarded as class winners in their respective categories and BMW came in third place in the overall rankings.
The BMW 7 Series came second in its segment as well as receiving the second-highest individual score of all vehicles in the APEAL survey, which made it the top European model in the competition. The BMW 3 Series and BMW X6 were both runners-up in their segments.
Meanwhile, the new MINI Countryman, took top honours in its vehicle class and the MINI Cooper also finished second in its segment.
