Bentley Newcastle, which represents the famous British marque across the North East, has just unveiled their latest signing. Neil Metcalf (41) is now leading the dealership’s 10-strong aftersales team and he brings an impressive 25 years worth of motor industry knowledge and experience to his new role.
Neil, who is married and lives in Pennshaw, started work at 16 and has been successfully managing aftersales departments for North East-based dealerships for several years. However, despite having worked around cars since leaving school, the opportunity to lead a squad of factory-trained Bentley technicians and experts was something Neil had always wanted to achieve.
"Our team is already performing to a very high standard and I definitely feel like I’ve joined a leading team," Neil explains.
"The opportunity to work with cars like the Continental Flying Spur, the Continental GT and Arnage is something you always aspire to. They are really unique and the technicians assure me that you never get bored of looking after Bentleys and you definitely look forward to coming into work each morning."
Neil’s aftersales team at Bentley Newcastle includes two chauffeurs who collect and deliver cars for Bentley customers, specialist valeters and a team of technicians who are all Bentley factory trained to use state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. Neil will also be responsible for liaising with specialist suppliers and the dealership’s newly appointed bodyshop partners.
Bentley Newcastle is based at Silverlink, Wallsend and is the famous British marque’s only official dealership for the North East. On show at Bentley Newcastle is the flagship Arnage and highly acclaimed Continental GT as well as the Continental Flying Spur, the fastest production four door car in the world. Up to 20 Bentley Approved cars can be viewed at the showroom and a demonstrator fleet is also available.
