The Bentley Continental ISR (Ice Speed Record) - limited to 100 models - celebrates the Company's world ice speed record for a convertible car, set by Juha Kankkunen in a Bentley Continental Supersports convertible.
The new Bentley Continental ISR is available in three colours helping to reinforce its muscular design, Beluga, Quartzite and, fittingly, Arctica White. These colours are complemented by a Dark Grey Metallic soft top with Bentley's refined three-ply composite construction.
A leather and Alcantara-lined cabin featuring high gloss carbon fibre with a unique red weave. Customers can specify the ISR Mulliner design package at no extra cost, with ‘Supersports ISR’ graphics and red-accented detailing.
Interior technology includes the touchscreen infotainment system from the new Bentley Continental GT providing high detail maps and a 30GB on-board hard drive. An 8 inch screen is used to display the audio system, telephone, ride and comfort settings as well as the navigation system, which uses the hard drive and DVD player for route data. The system can provide dynamic navigation that avoids heavy traffic sports and located destinations using geo-tagged photos from an SD memory card, and is compatible with Google maps.
Powered by a 6-litre twin turbo W12 engine producing 631 bhp - the most powerful Bentley ever - and 800Nm of torque and mated to a Quickshift six-speed automatic transmission, it takes 3.8 seconds to get from 0-60mph and reaches from standing to 100mph in 9.5 seconds. 50-75mph takes 2.5 seconds.
With FlexFuel technology, any combination of petrol and E85 bio-ethanol can be used to run the Bentley Continental ISR, offering a reduction of up to 70% in CO2 emissions on a well-to-wheel basis, a measure of a fuel’s net contribution to the atmosphere, not just tailpipe emissions.
An onboard fuel supply system monitors the content of the fuel tank and ensures that the power and torque remain constant, no matter what the ratio of petrol and biofuel is.
The Bentley Continental Convertible ISR is now available to order at Bentley dealerships, priced at £189,300 (inclusive of VAT).
