Wolfgang Durheimer, Chairman and Chief Executive of Bentley Motors has unveiled the new Bentley Continental GT, with improved and revised features from the original GT - launched in 2003 and Bentley's most successful model.

The design is recognisable as a Bentley Continental GT, featuring an interior which uses the finest soft leather and wood veneers, and offers more space for the drive and passenger.

New technology includes a new touchscreen satellite navigation system with iPad connectivity.

The 6 litre W12 engine featuring in the new Bentley Continental GT produces 575PS and provides a top speed of 318kph.

Wolfgang Durheimer also announced that China is now officially Bentley's second largest market, having sold 302 cars in the first quarter of 2011, up 64%.

Bentley plans to expand the dealer network by one third this year, whilst maintaining the standards of quality and customer service expected from the company.

300 Bentley Mulsannes will be supplied to China in 2011, all of which will be individually customised to the customer's specification.
