Audi is commissioning special displays of its A8 on a bed of nails and champagne flutes to convey the benefits of its Michelin PAX run flat tyres and the car's weight savings through its construction in aluminium.
The tyres allow the car to be driven for 125 miles at speeds of up to 50mph in the event of a sudden loss in tyre pressure.
The displays will be located at seven railway stations and two airports across the UK.
