A new Audi R8 V8 Limited Edition with a titanium-effect paintwork option and upgraded standard specification will be available to order next month with a price of £93,935.
The new Audi R8 Limited Edition has been created to celebrate Audi's tenth victory in the 24 Hour Le Mans race, which was first won in 2000 by the Audi R8 sports prototype, and will only be available to UK customers.
19 inch '5-arm double-spoke Y design' alloy wheels in Titanium finish and red brake callipers are the only exterior features for the Audi R8 Limited Edition. The normal metallic and pearl-effect optional paint options will be included for the Audi R8 Limited Edition, alongside a special Titanium Metallic paint effect exclusive to the model and demands no extra cost.
The Audi R8 Limited Edition also includes satellite navigation, Audi Music Interface, interior light package and a Bang and Olufsen sound system with mobile phone preparation care of a Bluetooth interface with integrated seat belt microphones.
Audi's magnetic ride adaptive suspension will be included as standard for the Audi R8 Limited Edition. The system uses sensors to monitor road conditions, adjusting the damping effect by varying a magnetic charge. The ultra-lightweight aluminium and magnesium Audi Space Fame and quattro permanent all-wheel-drive technology are also included.
The 4.2 litre 430PS V8 FSI engine, with 8,250rpm limit allows the Audi R8 Limited Edition to reach 62mph from standstill in 4.6 seconds in both the manual and R tronic automated manual models.
The interior features red accents on the Black Fine Nappa Leather upholstered seats and headrests with contrasting red stitching. The flat-bottomed, leather covered multi-function steering wheel and instrument cowl also features red stitching.
Knee pads and passenger door handles are finished in red leather, and the floor mats have a red surround and silver R8 logo.
Optionally, a Carbon Package adds carbon sigma sideblades, door mirrors, monoposto, inlays and door sill trims. The illuminated engine bay will also be framed with carbon fibre, highlighting the V8 engine which can be viewed through the rear window.
The Audi R8 Limited Edition also includes with a bespoke R8 Driving Experience at Silverstone Circuit to allow owners to fully acquaint themselves with the car's capabilities.
