Between 1st and 3rd July 2011, Audi will present past, current and future models to an anticipated 150,000 visitors to the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Current models including the Audi Q3 compact SUV, the 340PS RS 3 Sportback, the A6 Avant and the 560PS Audi R8 GT Spyder will all make their UK public debuts at the Festival. Also on show will be the lightweight, aluminium, five cylinder 408PS quattro concept.
In the F1 paddock will be the Audi R18 TDI sports prototype to commemorate the tenth victory for Audi in the 24 Hours Le Mans event. Andre Lotterer, one of the three winning drivers, will drive the car up the hill course.
The 1985 Audi Sport quattro S1 rally car will also face the hill climb, driven by FIA World Rally Champion Hannu Mikkola.
Two 1930s Auto Union "Silver Arrow" Grand Prix cars will be driven by by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason and Audi’s 1990 German Touring Car Champion Hans-Joachim Stuck.
