Priced at £41,020 only 333 cars will be made with just 19 being officially imported into the UK – despite not being available to be officially ordered until March – most of the UK allocation has been secured with a deposit with an expected delivery date in the second half of 2012.
The Audi A1 quattro is powered by 2.0-litre TFSI engine which delivers 256PS at 6,000rpm and 350Nm of torque between 2,500 and 4,500rpm. Audi quote a 0-62mph in 5.7 seconds and a top speed 152mph, combined 32.8 mpg and emissions of CO2 199g/km.
Outside the A1 quattro bodywork is Glacier White with a gloss black roof and Glacier White 18-inch turbine design alloy wheels.
The interior features black Nappa leather-upholstered S sport seats with their pronounced bolsters, integrated head restraints, red stitching and quattro insignias.
The Audi A1 quattro features £11,000 worth of extras over a standard model and includes xenon plus headlights, the high-beam assistant, adaptive brake lights, an LED interior lighting package, light and rain sensors, the acoustic rear parking system, automatic air conditioning, a storage package, the convenience key and cruise control.
