The Rapide S is equipped with the Gen4 iteration of Aston’s Adaptive Damping System (ADS) which offers three distinct settings: ‘Normal’, ‘Sport’ and ‘Track’ – by monitoring the throttle position, brake position, steering wheel rotation and vehicle speed the dampers, dynamic stability control; power delivery can be adjusted to suit the mode.

As a four-seater the Rapide S offers the flexibility that some ‘GT’ cars do not have, such as four-door access and the load carrying capability with individual back seats folding down to almost triple the Aston Martin’s load space.

The interior can be tailored to the owner’s preferences with a host of sports or luxury orientated options. Including optional duotone perforated red and black leather and the Carbon Exterior Pack which see the front splitter, rear diffuser, mirror caps and rear lamp infills all fashioned from carbon fibre.

Other options include a reversing camera and twin screen rear seat entertainment system with wireless headphones, remote control and six-disc DVD changer
