Volvo Dealer Rental Scheme Scores A Hit With Surrey County Cricket Club

One of HR Owen’s customers is Surrey County Cricket Club (SCCC). The cricket club currently has 12 Volvo XC70 and C70 models on long-term rental, predominantly for use by the players.
On the choice of models supplied to SCCC, Sharon Wright of HR Owen Business Centre says: ‘The Volvo XC70 is the perfect vehicle for carrying all the accessories associated with cricketing life without sacrificing performance or style. Volvo Rental offers long and short-term hire packages. Short-term rental is aimed primarily at companies that need an interim increase in their fleet size and offering. It also enables members of the general public the opportunity to hire out a different model from their own, perhaps if they are looking to buy a new Volvo, or simply needing to rent a car.
HR Owen North London is joined by another new recruit to Volvo Rental, Riverside Motors, now offering the scheme from Volvo dealer locations in Hull and Doncaster.
A total of 14 dealers now offers the Volvo Rental scheme around the UK with more expected to join before the end of 2004.
