Auto Express Used Car Honours 2005
Once again, for the 9th year running, the Volvo V70 has scooped the Estate Car award at Auto Express magazine's annual Used Car Honours. Two other Volvos, the S60 and S80 saloons, also achieved 'commended' honours in their categories - Compact 'Executive Car' and 'Executive Car', respectively.
Having won the 'Estate Car' award every year since its Used Car Honours were introduced, Auto Express described the V70 as: "… the best estate car in the world, and that's a statement that applies equally to a used example as it does a new one." It continued: "This shouldn't so much be a Used Car Honour as a lifetime achievement award."
What Car? Used Car Reliability report
What Car? magazine's Used Car Reliability report of Executive cars in its April issue has no less than three Volvos in the top 5 most reliable cars¹. In addition, the Volvo 940/960 models were just outside the Top 5 ranking in 8th place.
