Volvo C70 World Debut At Frankfurt Motor Show

All New C70
The all new Volvo C70 coupé/convertible with retractable hard top will make its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show from the 17 to 25 September.
The new C70, developed in conjunction with Pininfarina, will be the first premium convertible with a three-piece retractable hard top and, like its predecessor, will be a full four-seater.
Whilst Volvo issued the first images of the all new C70 in July, the Frankfurt Motor Show will be the first opportunity to see the car for real and marvel at the operation of the unique three-piece retractable roof.
The all new C70 also demonstrates class leading safety thanks to Volvo's innovative door-mounted IC (Inflatable Curtain) that inflates upwards, rather than downwards from the roof as in the rest of the Volvo range, for added protection in a side impact.
Full specifications and prices are expected to be released to coincide with the all new C70's debut, when it will also become available to order from Volvo dealers, with first deliveries expected in early 2006.
Also at the Show
Volvo will also have examples of the new Volvo Ocean Race Editions, distinguished by their unique Ocean Blue metallic paintwork, on its stand at the Frankfurt show, plus a display of models fitted with the new, extensively revised 2006 model D5 (185bhp) turbo diesel engine with coated diesel particulate filter.
