Vauxhall Set For Forces Motor Show Pictures In Germany
Published: 8th May 2003
The show is the biggest outdoor event in BFG (British Forces in Germany), and is a rare opportunity for Vauxhall to show its cars in the home territory of sister company Opel!
Vauxhall is a regular exhibitor at forces’ shows in Germany since it allows British service personnel to keep in touch with models available in the UK. They are able to purchase models at non-VAT prices, and with a special forces discount.
Vauxhall is keen to support the families of the many servicemen and women based in Germany who are still on active duty in Iraq. So teaming up with Polaroid, the company will offer Polaroid pictures of their children taken in the VX220 Turbo sports car, or in the Vauxhall kiddie cab, a welcome feature for families at motor shows.
The pictures will be mounted in greeting cards ready for mailing to Iraq.
As well as Meriva and Signum, also on display will be the
VX220 Turbo, Vectra, Zafira, Astra, Astra Convertible, Astra
Coupe, Corsa, Agila and Frontera.
