Vauxhall Ready For MOT Test Surge

Vauxhall MasterFit Centres and Retailers throughout the UK are gearing up to help more than 50,000 owners of three-year-old Vauxhall cars and vans stay on the right side of the law when their first MOT inspection falls due in March.

Next month marks the second biggest peak of three year old vehicles reaching the MOT threshold since the twice a year registration change was introduced six years ago. And with well over 140,000 new Vauxhalls registered at the same point in the previous three years, the demand for inspection and servicing at the start of spring is likely to be even higher.

All Vauxhall MasterFit Centres and many Retailers operate MOT test stations and the while-you-wait MasterFit approach to servicing and repairs is geared to providing owners of Vauxhall cars and vans with a one-stop shop for all their motoring needs.

An open door, evenings and weekend policy means that customers can simply drive in to a Vauxhall MasterFit Centre without any prior appointment. Fully quoted competitive prices, with all work carried out by manufacturer-trained technicians using genuine replacement parts, guarantees good value and peace of mind.

Vauxhall is in the process of enlarging its MasterFit network to more than 400 locations throughout the country to ensure that even more Vauxhall owners have a convenient service solution wherever they live.

Owners of most Vauxhall vehicles up to eight years old with less than 80,000 miles on the clock can cushion themselves against expensive annual repairs with MOT Test Insurance, which covers safety-related components and other parts responsible for up to 85 per cent of all MOT test failures.

Available from Vauxhall Retailers and MasterFit Centres, this £35 annual premium policy can now be transferred to a new owner should the car be sold.
