Vauxhall Offers 48 Hour Test Drive Programme

Published: 31st May 2003
The New Vectra

Vauxhall is to offer potential buyers full 48-hour test drives of the new Vectra. The 48 hour test programme will be managed centrally by Vauxhall Motors with cars sourced from its own central fleet.

Details will appear in press advertising next week. The ads will include a phone number for interested parties to call, and a Vectra will be delivered – and collected 48 hours later – to an address of their choice.

Following test drives, private customers will be asked about their test drive experience and given the option of whether they want further information from their local Vauxhall dealer.

Bill Parfitt, executive director Sales, marketing and customer care, commented: "Our new test drive initiative is all about offering our private retail customers the best service, the best opportunity to get to know about the Vectra and the best introduction to Vauxhall.

"We are confident that if more people are given the chance to live with the Vectra for a couple of days, we will convert more people to the Vauxhall brand."
