Vauxhall Astra Estate

Versatile and spacious interior

Measuring 4.51 metres from front to back, new Astra estate boasts a 2.7 metre wheelbase - around nine centimetres longer than the new five-door and the estate predecessor. This allows for an impressive load volume of up to 470 litres VDA to the top of the rear seat back, and up to 1550 litres with the boot loaded up to the roof and the rear seats folded.

With straight sides, a storage area beneath the luggage compartment floor and a side storage compartment the new Vauxhall Astra estate’s spacious luggage compartment is extremely versatile. The standard stainless steel rim protects the boot sill from scratches and complements the high quality look.

Furthermore, Vauxhall’s understanding of customer needs is also reflected in the new luggage compartment cover. Just a gentle touch and it rolls back smoothly and quietly to enable easy loading.

Also available in Astra estate is the Flex Organiser system. Designed to be complementary to the interior design as well as useful, Flex Organiser’s side rails are finished in anodised aluminium, while its systems of nets and foldable dividers are finished in black. An extensive range of accessories enables individual arrangement and organisation of the loading space.

To increase the generous boot space still further an optional sliding rear bench seat is available. It can be adjusted back to increase the standard legroom of 897 mm to a substantial 936 mm or slid forward when more loading space is needed - this increases the load length up to 1122 mm, while still leaving enough room for children in the back. With the optional foldable front passenger seat, maximum load length can be extended to 2.70 metres.
