Unless your car is regularly serviced or you do your own maintenance, it’s not easy to gauge how much life is left in the brake pads. Uneven wheel balance can often accelerate pad wear and even damage the brake discs, which should be smooth for maximum effect.
All owners of Vauxhall cars and vans over three years old are eligible for the free brake check, which is available from participating Vauxhall dealers and all MasterFit Centres. After removing the front and rear wheels, trained Vauxhall technicians will visually inspect the condition of the pads, brake discs, rear shoes and brake lines.
It is not necessary to book an appointment. The free brake check will be carried out while you wait. Any faults found will be listed on a vehicle inspection report, which is presented to the customer.

in the trade so any remedial work clearly estimated in a fully
inclusive quotation should not break the bank. Both workmanship
and parts are guaranteed for 12 months for added peace of
mind.
