Global Internet Link For Classic Vauxhall Owners

Published: 6th August 2002
A web site dedicated to owners of classic and vintage Vauxhall cars and Bedford commercial vehicles has been launched by Vauxhall Heritage Services.

Offering a wide range of online services, the site at www.vauxhallheritage.com is currently featuring a souvenir first edition of the magazine Classic Vauxhall packed with news about summer and autumn events, technical tips and owners’ club activities.

Owners of Vauxhall cars through the ages – the famous Griffin marque celebrates its centenary next year – will find the online parts location and supply service a boon. No point in restoring a classic car if you cannot find replacement parts.

Vauxhall Motors had the foresight to set up VHS, the heritage service, last year to look after the interests of thousands of classic car enthusiasts and they now provide parts, technical support and historical information on a worldwide basis.

The web site offers enthusiasts the chance to exchange news and views via chat rooms for Vauxhall, Bedford and Opel and Vauxhall Owners Club activities. Coming soon is a Heritage Motor Trader section giving owners the opportunity to buy and sell vehicles online and a photo archive enabling enthusiasts to identify models right back to 1903.

With over 1,000 members in the Viva Owners Club alone, and enthusiasts of the marque as far afield as New Zealand and Hong Kong, the heritage web site is set to unite Vauxhall owners all over the world.
