Anticipating the seasonal surge in demand for TLC car products, the aftersales experts at Vauxhall have introduced a new range of car cleaning products. Created by the car care experts at Sonax, the Xtreme range is designed to restore and protect all surfaces.
All the products are new to the UK market and are safe to use on any vehicle. With many uses in the car, home or workshop, Xtreme MultiSpray cleans, protects and lubricates components and can dispel humidity from any surface. It will also release rusted joints, protect metal parts from corrosion and can be used as a contact spray to protect leakage of current. It is transparent, odourless and silicone-free. It is priced at £2.84 for a 150 ml aerosol.
A highly effective, acid-free cleaner for all types of light alloy and steel wheels, RimCleaner removes even the most stubborn dirt such as burnt-on brake dust, oil and rubber residue and comes with a special brush to work into the most inaccessible areas. It costs £11.23 for a 500 ml spray.
Suitable for use on all plastic surfaces inside the car, CockpitCleaner matt effect is a powerful cleaning and protective agent. It helps to repel dust by preventing electrostatic charges and revives both matt and structured, soft-feeling surfaces, leaving behind a pleasant and fresh scent. It contains neither silicone nor solvents.
Clearview 1:100 is a concentrate designed to remove smear film and dead insects from windscreens in seconds when added to the car’s windscreen washer reservoir. Highly concentrated, just 25 ml produce 2.5 litres of cleaning solution. The 250 ml container costs £4.32.
To give the exterior a thorough clean prior to polishing, ActiveShampoo 2 in 1 dissolves even the most stubborn dirt when used undiluted. Phosphate-free, it is formulated for all painted and bare metal surfaces, glass, plastics, rubber and enamelled parts. It can also be used in the home to clean ceramic tiles and china.
Two special wax polishes suitable for both new and weatherworn paintwork,
plus a solid wax for long term paintwork protection, complete the new
