Astra Specials Celebrate Vauxhall Centenary

Vauxhall Astra100 Coupe And Convertible

Vauxhall couldn’t let its 100 year celebrations go without some rather special, special editions to mark the year ahead.

First model out of the box is the Astra Edition 100, available in either coupe or convertible and resplendent in its own unique pearlescent Centenary Blue. The rich exterior colour is complemented by 17 inch ‘BBS’ alloy wheels.

Step inside the Edition 100 and driver and passengers are greeted by beige leather trim, a matt chrome centre console, alloy gear shift knob and even a special plate on the ashtray depicting the car’s production number.

There is a choice of three engines for both the Coupe and Convertible – 1.8 16v, 2.2 16v and the 2.0 Turbo – and all get the Electronic Stability Program.

Other items included in a generous specification list include side airbags, cruise control and trip computer, while the Coupe also gets a subtle rear spoiler.

Astra Edition 100 goes on sale on 2 April. On the road prices are:

Model 1.8 16v 2.2 16v Turbo
Coupe £16,585 £17,585 £20,585
Convertible £18,610 £19,610 £21,610
