Santa Gives Vauxhall Zafira An Express Delivery

A last-minute present has made an appearance underneath Vauxhall’s Christmas tree, thanks to an Express delivery!

The new Zafira has been crowned ‘People Carrier of the Year’ in The Daily Express’s 2005 Car of the Year Awards, with judges praising the dynamic design, driving excitement and unrivalled practicality that define the model.

“When it first arrived in 1999, the Vauxhall Zafira won some big fans thanks to its seating system,” said the Express’s Motoring Editor, Nat Barnes. “New Zafira has the same seating system, but an improved interior and more refined on-road manners make it better than ever. Excellent engines, especially the diesels, make it a strong family package.”

The award comes as New Zafira leads its segment, outselling all of its rivals so far in December. Over 40,000 Zafiras were sold in 2005, while the new VXR model - the fastest MPV ever - has just arrived at retailers, adding a whole new dimension to the line-up.
