Vauxhall Signum Road Test

Vauxhall Signum
Build Quality
Overall the Signum is very well put together. The upholstery and carpet used are of a very high standard and the paint finish is very good. However, some of the materials felt a little out of place in a premium vehicle.
Value For Money
The Signum is competitively priced within the premium executive car segment and offers high levels of specification at a reasonable price. The majority of Signum's will find their way onto the fleet market rather than into the hands of private buyers and as with all large Vauxhall's depreciation should prove high making the Signum a good used buy.
Overall Opinion
We enjoyed our time with the Vauxhall Signum it is excellent to drive and has copious amounts of standard equipment. The exterior styling may not be to everyone's taste and but in our opinion it is a bold and distinctive design.
The Signum's versatile interior is commendable and includes innovative ideas such as the 'FlexSpace concept' and 'Travel Assistant'. With volumes of interior space the Signum would be ideal for chauffeurs or for family use.
The Signum will struggle to compete with premium rivals such as Audi, BMW, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Saab and Volvo but If you are looking for a well engineered, highly specified, spacious vehicle that is both fun to drive and easy to live with then the Signum comes highly recommended.
