A new Service and Maintenance Plan has been launched by Vauxhall to provide complete peace of mind for new car owners.
By replacing the unpredictability of servicing and wear and tear costs with easy to budget monthly payments of just £29.99, the new plan effectively eliminates unexpectedly large servicing and repair bills.
If you have always wished you had a crystal ball when it comes to car ownership, this is the answer. Just like household bills, the new Vauxhall initiative puts you in control of your own running costs.
Available through participating Vauxhall retailers around the country, the Service and Maintenance Plan not only covers routine servicing but also wear and tear components such as brakes, tyres and exhaust systems.
“Most motorists today appreciate the importance of routine servicing,” says Vauxhall Aftersales marketing manager John Deed, “but it is not easy to predict how much the cost of wear and tear on your car can add up to over the first three years. Our new initiative ensures that there are no nasty surprises further down the road.”
All parts and labour costs for routine servicing and additional essential repairs to any wear and tear items are covered, including disc and drum brakes, clutches, steering joints, shock absorbers, exhausts and wiper blades.
The new Service and Maintenance Plan is designed to complement Vauxhall’s standard three year manufacturer’s warranty. It does not cover accidental or malicious damage, which would normally be covered through the owner’s insurance policy.
The plan embraces new Vauxhall cars purchased from authorised Vauxhall retailers during the first three years or 60,000 miles of ownership. Details of other plan options available may be obtained from your local Vauxhall retailer.Published 16 April 2008
