New Land Cruiser Breaks Cover

Published: 23rd October 2002
Toyota gave the all-new Land Cruiser a sparkling UK debut at the British International Motor Show.

Mounted on a jagged steel stand, the new SUV takes centre stage in a giant Toyota stand at the NEC that also features displays centred on its Formula One exploits and environmental credentials.

The new Land Cruiser offers an outstanding on-road and off-road driving experience, and is the first vehicle in the world to have Hill-start Assist Control. It will be available in either three or five-door styles with a choice of petrol or diesel engines.

Toyota has also introduced an all-new 4-litre V6 engine to the range, which powers the new Land Cruiser from 0 to 62 mph in just 9.5 seconds and on up to 112 mph.
