Meridian Motor Group’s Toyota Centres in Knaresborough, York and Bridlington are to be renamed as ‘Vantage Toyota’, as from the 1st September 2007.

The re-brand follows the company’s purchase of three Toyota Centres in Colne, Blackburn and Preston from the Vantage Group.

Uniting all six dealerships under one brand will give Meridian an even stronger foothold in the Northern Toyota market.

Managing Director, Mark Robinson, says; “The Vantage name is known and respected in Lancashire. We intend to make the brand even stronger by continuing our own high standards of customer service across both sides of the Pennines under the Vantage name”.

Andrew Mallory, CDA Principle for the Yorkshire Toyota Centres adds, “Our Yorkshire centres will continue to operate as normal but with the advantage of being part of a large well known brand with a wider choice of new and used cars at their disposal.”
