The Jimny Estate

Jimny's styling makes sure it stands out from the crowd. Sitting firmly on the ground, its wide stance gives it a presence well beyond its compact dimensions.
An overall length of just 3625mm and an overall width of 1600mm provides Jimny with a neat, modern, practical look which is enhanced by curving body panels, body-side protective mouldings and bumpers, all colour coded to match or contrast with the paint finish. Integral roof rails emphasise the roof contours, giving additional functionality with a range of roof rack accessory options available.
At the front there is a distinctive grille and large multi-reflector halogen headlamps to add to the style.
All body panels are made of high-tensile galvanised steel and the shape has been determined by intensive computer analysis that offers maximum strength, lightness and superior design. Body panels are mounted to the separate chassis, which provides a rigid basis for the whole vehicle.
The electrically operated door mirrors are large, giving an exceptional rear view. All-round visibility is excellent thanks to the extensive glass area. The spare wheel is mounted low on the rear door and the rear head restraints are ësee throughí so as not to impede the driverís rear vision.

The seats can be folded in a wide variety of configurations; the front passenger seat slides forward for ease of entry and exit for rear occupants a process further helped by wide-opening doors and the low sills.
The driving position is high and commanding, offering enhanced views in all directions and occupants have plenty of headroom, enhancing the feeling of spaciousness created by the large glass area.
The seats offer comfortable support and the controls are light to use. The fascia is simple yet stylish, with clarity and ease of use being prime design considerations. Speedometer, tachometer, and gauges for temperature and fuel are accompanied by a full display of warning lights.
Rear seat passengers are provided with armrests, holders for oddments and a cup holder. Additional cup holders are located in the central console between the front two seats.
Front electric windows, central locking and electrically adjustable door mirrors are standard.
