Suzuki Betters All Of Its Sales Records - Again

Ever since 1991 - when sales reached 9,719 units - Suzuki has grown steadily in the UK, setting new records each year since. In 2003 the total reached more than 36,000 units representing an increase of an impressive 370% over that 12 year period.
Now, with almost 8,000 units sold in September, 2004 and with Year-To-Date sales results of 31,227, 4.3% better than in the same period of 2003 when the previous YTD record of 29,945 was set, Suzuki is yet again on target to exceed its previous year record breaking achievements, this time for the 13th consecutive year.
"The Suzuki dealer network becomes stronger every year and a great deal of the credit for this sustained growth is due to their expertise and the continuous improvements in the customer services they provide," comments Suzuki GB’s Sales and Marketing Director, David Seward.
"Very substantial investment by the dealers in premises, customer care programmes and training, backed by an aggressive - value-for-money - pricing strategy and strongest ever national and regional marketing programmes, have secured yet another successful period of growth for the Suzuki brand and led to top ratings for the reliability of the product and overall dealer service in a number of independent surveys.
"Into the future and now with 10 exciting new models specifically designed for Europe due for introduction within the next five years - including the exciting new Swift which was widely acclaimed at its launch at the 2004 Paris Motor Show - sustained growth for Suzuki in the UK and throughout Europe is certain," David Seward says.
