Alto 1.1 GL
Ease of Use
The updated styling and increased interior space makes the Alto even easier to drive and more functional than its predecessor. The Alto's exterior compact size, high driving position, and large glass area designed for improved visibility makes it easy to park and manoeuvre.
The Alto is a four seater vehicle and the rear seats split 50:50 to allow flexible use of the available space. The large tailgate opening and interior luggage-floor height provides easy access to the load area which has a rear load cover.
Safety and Security
The following safety and security equipment is standard on the Suzuki Alto 1.1 GL. Driver and passenger front airbags, a unique impact-absorbing bodyshell, ventilated front disc brakes, high mounted stop lamp, inertia reel seat belts, front seatbelt pre-tensioners, headlamp levelling device, height adjustable front seatbelt anchorages, childproof rear door locks, collapsible steering column, steering lock, visible V.I.N, side impact protection beams, internal fuel flap release, internal tail gate release, central door locking and immobiliser.
Comfort and Refinement
Due to its increased height the new Alto cabin is particularly spacious with more than adequate head and leg room. Although, the lateral space between the two front passengers is a bit tight.
The front seats have been designed to provide firm support, both have a slide and recline adjustment. The recline adjustment was a bit awkward to use as there was not much fine adjustment.
Power steering is standard on the Alto as is central locking and electric front windows. Other features include a digital clock, vanity mirror, tinted glass, a 3-position cabin light, a cigarette lighter, remote tailgate and fuel flap openers.
