Suzuki Wishes Bargain Hunters A Happy New Year
Published: 16th January 2005
Against the backdrop of a 13th consecutive year of record sales, Suzuki is ushering in 2005 with an extension to some of the great deals available throughout Suzuki’s dealer network towards the end of last year.
Among the bargain offers is a new 0% finance deal on the Ignis 4Grip, the unique supermini that offers the comfort of a 5-door hatchback with the practicality of an SUV. A deposit of £3,267 and 48 monthly payments of only £134, for a total of £9,699, secure the stylish and spacious Ignis 4Grip, which with its full-time four-wheel drive and advanced 1.5 litre VVT (variable valve timing) engine, delivers superior economy and performance, together with excellent on-road security.
It’s always good to trim some of the costs of running a car, so three years’ free servicing on the Liana and Wagon R+ should also continue to prove popular. The compact yet capacious Wagon R+ range starts from just £7,999 and the 1.6-litre and C-segment Liana saloon and hatchback models from £9,999 … on-the-road.
For those customers contemplating an SUV, then ownership has never been easier, with Suzuki continuing to offer the great 0% finance deals on Grand Vitara 5-door 2.0 litre models, and now extended to include the 2.5 V6 X-EC.
Again, customers need only pay a deposit of £5,447 (36%) for the 2.0 litre manual petrol model, £6,397 (36%) for the same model with a 4-speed automatic gearbox, or £7,447 (43%) for the 2.0 litre turbo diesel and 2.5 V6 manual petrol X-EC models, followed by 48 monthly payments of only £199. That’s a total of £14,999, £15,949 and £16,999 respectively, equivalent to a 0% APR.
Powered by a 2.5 litre V6 DOHC engine producing 158 PS (116 kW) and 153 lb ft (208 Nm) of torque, the X-EC model adds climate control air conditioning, multi-spoke alloy wheels and front fog lamps to the already generously-equipped Grand Vitara 5-door specification.
If it’s a straight £1,000 discount you’re after, then one of the bargains to be had anywhere has to be the Alto city car which retails at a suitably compact £4,999. There’s a similar saving to be had on the high performance 3-door Ignis Sport which is amazing value-for-money at £8,999 and Grand Vitara 3-door models which start at just £10,999.
All offers run to the end of March, 2005.
