Kizashi – in Japanese means ‘A sign of great things to come
The Suzuki Kizashi Sport is coming to the UK in January 2012 priced at £ 21,995. The flagship Suzuki model has a 2.4 litre petrol engine and switchable 2/4WD CVT transmission as standard. The CVT system is fitted with an additional shift lever gate as well as switches behind the steering wheel which allows the driver manually select a programme of six speeds.

The 2.4 litre petrol engine produces178PS at 6,000 rpm with 230 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, which is enough to propel the Suzuki Kizashi Sport from 0 – 62 mph in 8.8 seconds and then onto a top speed of 127 mph. Suzuki quote a fuel consumption figure of 34mpg on the combined cycle with CO2 emissions of 191g/km.
The Kizashi Sport is Suzuki’s first ‘D’ segment car which has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to five people. Exterior dimensions are length-width-height of 4,650mm x 1,820mm x 1,470mm.
Kizashi Sport’s standard equipment includes seven airbags; four electric windows, MP3/WMA compatible CD tuner with eight speakers, Dual Zone automatic air conditioning, 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry and start and folding heated door mirrors. The sole option for Kizashi will be a touch screen satellite navigation system, available as a dealer fit.Published 13 December 2011
