Subaru Launches Free Servicing And Zero Per Cent Finance

Even the highly-acclaimed new Legacy 2.0i and 2.5i saloon and Sports Tourer are included as is the iconic Impreza WRX and all naturally-aspirated Forester 2.0 X derivatives.
Meanwhile, the Impreza 2.0 GX Sport saloon and five-door are available with zero per cent finance. The offer covers up to £10,000 borrowed over a maximum of three years.
The three years’ free servicing covers the first three major services meaning all items listed in the Subaru Owner’s Service and Warranty booklet are free of charge - including labour.
The incentive covers the period up to and including 30 June and comes at a time when Subaru’s all-wheel drive range has never been so attractive to run.
For example, parts prices have just been permanently cut by up to 56 per cent on current and older models.
This involves 200 individual part numbers with, for example, timing belts dropping in price from £77.47 to £35.85 on many models and many oil filters down to £4.50.
Other aids to lower-cost Subaru ownership include lower insurance groups for the new Legacy. The 2.0 litre versions are down from the14D of the previous model to 11E and the Legacy 2.5i is now a low 13E.
This follows similar insurance cuts for the latest Forester – introduced in the autumn of 2002. All are the result of enhanced security measures plus easier-to-repair accident damage items.
Recent new Subaru models also offer much improved fuel economy and lower exhaust emissions.
For example, the new Legacy 2.5i automatic is a full 7.1 mpg better than before, while the 2.0i Sports Tourer is rated at only 20 per cent instead of 27 per cent in the ‘Benefit In Kind’ tax ratings for company cars.
Commenting on the incentives, Subaru (UK) Limited Managing Director, Sam Burton, said: "We have the strongest, most attractive range in our history with most models either brand-new or less than two years old. Now, these latest offers make owning a new Subaru even more tempting."
Subaru is the world’s best-selling manufacturer of all-wheel drive passenger cars with more than 7.5 million vehicles sold since 1972.
Not only was the new Legacy voted ‘Japanese Car of the Year’ but the Forester is the UK Caravan Club’s ‘Towcar of the Year’. The Subaru Impreza, of course, is related to the car driven by reigning World Rally Champion, Petter Solberg.
