New 'Peace Of Mind' Subaru Impreza Service Scheme

The aim is to give owners an easy payment plan to spread the cost of servicing via direct debit.
Called ‘Six Star Service’ after the Pleiades logo, various packages are on offer - all covering up to a three year/36,000 mile period and all tailored to each driver’s individual annual mileages.
For example, an Impreza 2.0 GX owner covering no more than 12,000 miles per year would pay £20 per month with WRX or even WRX STi owners paying only slightly more at £23.
Packages are also available for owners recording up to 18,000 or 30,000 miles per year.
‘Six Star Service’ - which goes ‘live’ on 1 October - is available from every Subaru dealer and can also be applied to cars already sold and registered providing they have not received their first major service.
Areas covered include labour, parts and lubrication - in effect, everything listed in the Impreza’s Service Schedule. Items such as tyres and exhausts are excluded.
"This is great news for both our customers and dealers and something we know there is great demand for," said General Manager - Technical Services, Phil Evans.
He added: "It will give owners peace of mind by having a steady monthly payment for servicing by direct debit, just like many other outgoings such as electricity bills and community charges.
"It should also boost dealer aftersales revenues and strengthen both customer loyalty and service retention."
The initiative follows recent parts price reductions for various Subaru models by up to 56 per cent plus lower insurance groups for recent new models - all helping to make owning and running a Subaru an even more attractive proposition.
