Subaru enthusiast Andy Payne’s third Impreza has arrived with an unexpected optional extra - a free trip to see the Rally of Catalunya.
When Shrewsbury-based Andy Payne bought a new Subaru Impreza, little did he realise he would be fulfilling an ambition of a lifetime.
As a three times Subaru owner, Shrewsbury-based Andy was one of 21,000 prospective and current customers who received details of a national competition that formed part of a three-month campaign promoting Subaru’s high performance Impreza range.
All Andy had to do was complete his details on the tear-off card that came attached to his Information pack and return it to Subaru (UK) Limited.
More than 10,000 entries later, Andy received the fantastic news that he was the lucky winner and the prize trip to the Subaru Spanish Rally Stage was his.
Held in Catalunya over the weekend of 28-30 October Andy, accompanied by his father, Roger will be the special guests of Subaru where they will experience all the excitement of the World Rally Championship.
With luxury accommodation and the services of a former rally driver as a guide, the trip includes VIP access to all the most thrilling stages on the rally.

Andy and Roger will fly to Barcelona where they will be met by SWRT’s representative and head straight off to the first stage.
Catalunya is the closest that the WRC comes to circuit racing and is the quickest asphalt rally on the calendar.
Of particular interest to Andy and Roger will be Subaru WRC entrants Petter Solberg & Phil Mills, Chris Atkinson & Glenn MacNeall and Stéphane Sarrazin & Denis Giraudet.
