Unsurprisingly, the new Subaru Legacy Sports Tourer and Outback have a great deal in common; not least is the fact that they both house the world’s first Boxer Diesel engine. As I said in the Sports Tourer report, this new unit is a thing of beauty when it is in action and a work of art when it is idle. the full review
Here we have the new Subaru Justy - a supermini that offers good fuel economy along with low emissions and a surprising amount of space. The re-use of the name, Justy, for Subaru’s new entry-level car, provides a sense of continuity but it also carries the ghost of a chequered history, which takes so-called, ‘badge engineering' to a whole new level. Put yourself in my position - I'm off to my son's wedding, some 230 miles away in Emmerdale country. I need to transport four people in comfort along with their luggage, in a smart-looking car (it's a posh do) that will eat up the motorway miles and take advantage of the amazing roads in that part of the country. the full review
The B9 Tribeca is a bit of a departure from the norm for Subaru - but none the worse for it. If you take into account all the company's AWD know-how, the next logical step from sporty saloons and estates would be an SUV. the full review
Mention the name Subaru and boys of all ages will respond with the word Impreza, while grinning inanely. the full review
