First SsangYong Dealership Opens Its Doors

NMG has three dealers within the group in Norwich, and when SYUK Cars Ltd announced its intention to import the new Rexton 4x4 into the UK, was the first to apply for the franchise.
Dealer principal Grant Long said: "We are very enthusiastic about the new product on offer from SsangYong and feel we can be very successful with this new generation of 4x4. We were previously one of the largest selling SsangYong dealers in the UK and aim to return to this position in the very near future."
Added Peter Ellis, managing director of SYUK Cars Ltd: "There has been a great deal of interest from prospective dealers because the new Rexton is perceived as being such a good vehicle, and great value. We are very pleased to have NMG on board. Due to its high profile site, and nearby rural communities, we anticipate that the Rexton will sell extremely well in the area."
NMG was established in 1969, and the group is investing a substantial sum in becoming the flagship site for SYUK. It has 68 staff across its three locations.
SYUK Cars Ltd currently has 30 dealers, and aims to have 50-60
in place by the start of 2004.
