Kenneth Clawson, Show Jumping Coach to the British 3-Day Eventing Team, has taken delivery of a SsangYong Rexton 270Xdi Automatic, from Ashby Garage in Ashby Parva near Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
Kenneth from nearby Leire, has been the British Team show jumping coach since 1997 and will use the Rexton on official team business, and at his South Leicestershire Riding Establishment, both on road and off.
The Rexton boasts a 2.7-litre common-rail turbo-intercooled diesel engine, developing 165 PS and some 340 Nm of torque, giving it more than enough muscle to haul a 3.5 tonnes trailer. Dual range four-wheel drive and electronic traction control are standard along with electronic stabilisation program (ESP). Naturally, ABS braking comes as part of the package. The SsangYong Rexton 270Xdi is available from just £19,999 for the 270 S model.
